Overview

This 5” diamond polishing pad is built for concrete polishing after metal or hybrid steps. The resin-bond matrix refines scratches evenly and helps you build clarity step-by-step—matte → satin → gloss.

Best for

• Concrete polishing & scratch refinement

• Residential garages, commercial slabs, terrazzo-style finishing (after proper prep)

• Edges and small-to-medium areas with a 5” pad driver

Features

• 5” (125mm) size for controlled polishing

• Resin-bond diamond working layer for cleaner scratch pattern

• Wet or dry use (best life with wet; best speed with strong dust control in dry)

• Grit options (variants): 50 / 100 / 200 / 400 / 800 / 1500 / 3000 (add/remove grits if your SKU set is different)

• Center hole design helps cooling and slurry/dust management

Fitment

• Works with 5” backing pads / pad holders on hand polishers, swing machines, and floor grinders that accept 5” pads

• Use a proper hook & loop (Velcro) or mechanical pad driver depending on your system (tell me your driver type and I’ll lock this line down)

FAQ

Q1: Wet or dry—what’s better?

Wet = longer life + cooler running. Dry = faster convenience, but needs good dust control to avoid heat glazing.

Q2: What grit should I start with?

If you still see deep metal scratches, start at 50/100. If the floor is already fairly refined, start at 200/400.

Q3: Can I use it on coatings?

No—polishing pads are for refining concrete/terrazzo. Coating removal should be done with PCD or aggressive removal tools first.

Q4: Why does my pad glaze (gets slippery and stops cutting)?

Usually heat + dust buildup. Reduce RPM/pressure, add water (wet use), or improve vacuum/dust control (dry use).
